Umuogba USA needs a solid and reliable funding Resource for its approved PROJECTS in Ogba land. As such, I am proposing to those of us who are able to afford the commitment/sacrifice of $5,000(five thousand dollars) to-day to do so without hesitation as a positive patriotic gesture. The need in Ogba land cannot be overemphasized. So far,only two of us have volunteered to meet this compellimg funding challenge facing Umuogna USA. The $5,000 payment can be spread for 12 months from the date of commitment.

    The funding proposal includes the following aspects:

1.  To invest the sum of money from the $5,000 contribution/pledge into income-producing projects starting with a simple and profitable business to involved ones requiring both high technical and management skills.The income generated is used to fund carefully selected Umuogba USA projects in Ogba land.

2.  The management of these income- producing businesses in Ogba land will be controlled solely by the $5,000 participating members and all incomewill constitute patriotic funding resource for Umuogbo USA.

3.  That this group of $5,000 contributing members solicits and accepts genuine suggestions of income-produceng ventures viable in  Ogba land. We believe that Ogba land has enough resources to sustain itself from within. Consequently, we must search diligently for projects that will accomplish two objectives:

             I  Create employments for able and willing bodies of Ogba land.

            II  Generate income for Umuogba USA to be used to enhance  the quality of life in Ogba land(OUR MOTHER LAND).

   In putting this kind of energy into Umuogba USA, we are bound to succeed (BY THE GRACE OF GOD) and our time and money invested in  our annual Umuogba USA gettogether will be more fulfilling to us and lay a solid foundation for generations to come. It will also signal a good start to stem the present economic and social disarrangement we talked about as existing in Ogba land to-day.

   We are the architects of our own fortunes. We should "feed" our MOTHER-LAND with what she needs.It is a mistake to expect someone else to "feed" our MOTHER-LAND for us. To-day, Umuogba USA is in a position to meet the challenging needs of our mother land. LET US DEEPLY REALISE THIS. ACT GLAGLY WITHOUT HESITATION, AND GOD WILL BLESS US WHEN WE ACT RIGHT. THIS IS WHAT UMUOGBA USA IS ALL ABOUT. I expect.     After we have shown our worth, then we should feel free and proud to selectively accept donations and solicit outside help when NECESSARY.

   PS  I SHALL EXPOUND ON A COUPLE OF PROJECTS I HAVE IN MIND DURING THE TELEPHONE CONFERENCE TIME FOR OUR CONSIDERATION.

     Is Umuogba USA organized for short-term, long-term,  one-time, or combination projects. A defined clarification will set the direction in which the association will go.
